My Alerts: Understanding your project inbox
My Alerts is your inbox for daily project newsletters. It's the central place to see new and updated bid opportunities that match your subscription.
- Lite users: My Alerts is your main view. When you click a link in your daily email alert, you'll arrive here. You can also sign in directly at portal.bidocean.com -- My Alerts is the first screen you land on.
- Core users: Access My Alerts at any time by clicking the bell icon in the top right corner of your Dashboard.
What's in My Alerts?
Your inbox shows email-style newsletters, one per day. Each newsletter lists bid opportunities that are new or have been updated and fit within your subscription. Only projects matching your subscribed trades and geographies will appear. These may include:
- Tracked Opportunity Updates -- updates on projects you've saved or tracked
- Saved Search Updates (Core only) -- new results matching your saved searches
How to use it
- Use the inbox search bar to find a specific project by name, project ID, posting type, Planholder name, or company name.
- Filter your inbox by date to browse newsletters from a specific time period.
- Click any project in a newsletter to open the full Project Detail page.
- Your inbox holds up to one year of past newsletters.
Tip: Core users: your My Alerts inbox includes both your regular daily newsletters and email alerts triggered by your Saved Searches -- they all arrive in the same place.
